Plus, Minus, Multiply, Divide

I cannot forget Rev. Sundar Clarke who solemnized my marriage with Miss Pushpa Rani Chelliah at the St. George's Cathedral in Madras on 4th September 1968.

An affable person, Rev. Clarke gave a short and beautiful sermon using the four mathematical symbols, namely Plus, Minus, Multiplication, and Division signs. Here's the gist of what he preached.

1. Add Jesus to your family. Let Him become the silent and invisible member of your family. Allow Him to bless you in whatever you do.

2. Remove all negative thoughts and feelings.

3. Multiply the Love that exists between you both as husband and wife.

4. Divide your responsibilities. Share your worries and problems with your partner.
